Kerala Samajam (Kerala Verein) Frankfurt e.V. is a cultural organization registered under the German law. Established in 1970, the organization is in the service to the local Malayalee community for more than three and a half decades. By organizing the festivals of Kerala like Vishu/Easter, Onam, Christmas, etc. with all its traditional gaiety and a variety of cultural programmes, we keep our cultural heritage alive. To a great extent, we have succeeded in passing on this rich cultural heritage to the young generation that are born and brought up in Germany. We also try to integrate the keralite community with other Indian organization as well.

Kerala Samajam Frankfurt is running a Malayalam school since many years. The majority of the young generation can speak, read and write Malayalam - a success story of the school, which still continues. Office for the promotion of multicultural activities, (Multikulturamt) of the city of Frankfurt was helping the samajam for the maintenance of this school. Now the Indian Consulate have promised to give some financial assistance as well.
